I’m taking the weekend off from birding due to familial and sleep obligations. While at my parents’ house yesterday I saw a couple of Carolina Chickadees (FOY.. heck, first of DECADE) in their backyard and demonstrated “pishing” to my brother and called out a Brown Thrasher from the hedges.
